What got you into running? My husband suggested I join so I could have a bit of free time and a break from my 3 young boys. I've never looked back!
Why do you run? For the feel-good factor, to keep fit & see my running buddies.
What's your favourite running route? Across the fields to Wallingford and then back along the river.
Do you take part in races? Yes from 5k to Marathon distance.
What's your greatest running achievement? Finishing the London Marathon twice.
How long have you been at Benson Striders and how has it helped you and your running? 3 years, it's helped me achieve my running goals that I thought were impossible, it's kept me sane & I've made lots of friends.
Do you use any apps to record your running and if so which ones? I just use my Garmin watch.
What advice would you give to someone new to running or the club? Give it a go. Nothing's impossible and you don't know where it might take you. The club is so friendly and there will always be someone to run with.
What's your favourite motivational motto? Mind over matter - anyone can run, you just have to believe in yourself!
